Many people are looking for someone to blame after Donald Trump won. The Clintons and the Democrats have little time for self-criticism or responsibility. The establishment is still licking its wounds, even as it swallows the Trump victory. The perfect image of this is the now famous photo of Mitt Romney grimacing at a dinner with the President-elect. It looks like a nightmarish scene right out of Twin Peaks. The Republicans have no room for a scapegoat, as they threw everything at Trump and he still won. Now they have to accept it. Where now for Cuba?

There are a number of no-go zones in the world for Barack Obama these days. Damascus is enemy territory. Most of Iraq and Afghanistan are too dangerous. Pyongyang has never hosted a sitting U.S. president, and Kim Jong-Eun frankly prefers Americans with better jump shots. We now have a nuclear deal with Iran, but there are no trips of reconciliation to Tehran on the White House calendar. 20th Century Liberalism is dying, there is no third way (and there never was)

For those who perhaps haven’t been following the US primaries too closely (although I doubt it on this site) the election came alive on Tuesday night.
